BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1980, Kristy Lombard began studying pottery with Ron Linn at David Douglas HS in 1996 and earned a BFA degree from the University of Oregon in 2003 under the direction of Sana Krusoe & Justin Novak. In 2004 Kristy began teaching wheel and hand-building classes at Georgies Ceramic and Clay Co. in Portland and joined the Oregon Potters Association in 2005. In addition to teaching, Kristy currently works out of her home studio as a freelance artist.

STATEMENT

The interrelationship of design, color & texture give each of my pieces it's own distinct character. Using a combination of these elements I strive to create both visual and tactile interest.
